ScaleMatrix employs a multi-tiered approach for physical security: locked gates, cameras, armed guards, and biometrically-secured doors and cabinets. Inside the gates, cameras monitor the facilities 24/7, inside and out. Every main door is always locked, so nobody can enter the building without the armed guard granting access. Upon entering, identification cards are scanned by an armed guard and verified in the database to ensure each client has the authorization necessary to enter the data center floor. An employee with biometric access will escort the client to their cabinet where their personal biometrics will unlock their individual cabinet.
